Good Clean Fun

The Clean are one of my favourite bands. Those Kilgour brothers are where it's at. I believe them to be one of the best among the long list of NZ's fine musical progeny, yes indeed. I don't think anyone has used an organ to such great effect before or since.

Sydney band Songs, are the next best thing. They sound just like The Clean if they had a female vocalist, with a dash of the Go-Betweens thrown in for good measure. Due to bad timing, poverty and laziness (or a combination of all these elements) I have yet to see them perform. So my calendar already has a big, red circle around the next gig they play, cannot wait to see them live.
